Palak potato

Ingredients

For 4-6 persons

Palak 250 gmsPotato 1/2 kg

Tomato 2

Garlic 5-6 flakes

Green chillies 2

Curry powder 1 tablespoon

Salt

Turmeric Powder 1 teaspoon

Preparation

Wash and cut the leaves palak.Steam for 2 mins. Now cool it. Gring the steamed leaves , chillies ,tomato and garlic in mixer.

Peel and cut the potatoes in medium size pieces. In a pan add oil .After heating add cumin seeds, asafoetida and red a chilly fry and add potato pieces. Fry till pink than add palak paste ,salt , turmeric powder and spices. Add more water if need .Cover and cook in medium flame for 5-7 mins .
